OIL PAINTING INSTRUCTION
The classes are offered to learners at all experience levels. Jump in as a beginner, or take your work to the next level in an environment of supportive instruction. Typically the classes are composed of adults and older teens and class size is limited to 8 students. Classes for children are offered when enough interest arises.
Each 4-week session is themed to develop experience and understanding of a particular technique or concept. The class period combines a lecture or demonstration followed by individual instruction as students work on painting from still life setups designed to provide practice in the technique being studied.

In 1998 she received a grant from the Kentucky Arts Council to study painting in New York.
